How far is the Heavenly Gondola from us?

The Heavenly Gondola is located just across the street and 1/2 block away from us.  An easy 1-2 min walk and you're there!

How far are you from the Nevada casinos and Stateline?

Just past the Gondola is the Nevada stateline and casinos.  We are approximately 1 block, an easy 3 min walk, from the casinos and Nevada Stateline.

What type of dining is there in the area?

There are numerous restaurants located within walking distance from the hotel, from local and casual to family style or fine dining.

What type of transportation can I get from the Reno & Sacramento Airports?

If you are coming from Reno, catch the South Tahoe Express, which will drop you off at the Embassy Suites, right at the Nevada Stateline and 1 block from our hotel.

If you are coming from Sacramento, a new shuttle service is geared to start in March 2010 which will make daily round trips from Sacramento!  More information on this to come.

What are the best local bars in the area?

There are numerous great bars in the Tahoe area.  Some local favorites include: Moe's, McP's, Rojo's, and Whisky Dicks.

What activities are there to do in the summertime?

What isn't there to do?!  If you love the outdoors, then you'll love tahoe.  Activities range from hiking, biking, boating, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, rafting... the list goes on and on.

What activities are there to do in the wintertime?

Like summertime, the wintertime holds just as many numerous activities, such as skiing, snowboarding, snow mobiling, ice skating, snow shoeing, dog sledding, cross country skiing, sledding, etc.

Where is the nearest movie theater?

The Heavenly Cinemas are located directly across the street from us.  Less than a 2 min walk.  And if the movie you would like to see is not playing there, you can usually find alternative films at the Horizon Theater, just 1 block away at the Stateline.
