"My husband and I had the opportunity to take a quick trip up to Lake Tahoe this past week. We wanted to stay close to the casinos and the great shopping at Heavenly Village. Park Tahoe Inn was great, best location we could find at the best price. Someone took this place to the next level, redone the rooms and put in Temp-r-pedic beds! Doesn't get any better. "Our first experience of visiting a "dog friendly" hotel we were unsure of what to expect. The room was beautifully remodeled with a log cabin theme just as pretty as in the pictures. The Superior King gave us enough room where we weren’t tripping over ourselves and the dog too. He had plenty of room to stretch out and relax after the concierge gave us directions to the dog friendly Kiva Beach where he played in the lake all day. We were within a block of Heavenly Village and Stateline. Restaurants were also in walking distance and we only used the car to drive to the beach although there was a great marina within 4 walking blocks but it was NOT dog friendly. The hotel staff were very knowledgeabe about the area and the dog friendly locations. They were very flexible with room service so we could be sure we were out of the room with our dog. They were accomadating in regards to an early check in and late check out. Wonderful way to celebrate a birthday and bring the dog with us too. We will definitely return!" - Expedia, 29-Dec-09

"We went there during there "Home for the Holidays" special and it was as good as it gets. Room was very nice and very inexpensive. The beds were the Tempurpedic one's and it was like sleeping on clouds! I loved it! I might just get one myself! Great location!! Everything is pretty much across the street, although it was awfully cold to even walk outside! The staff was great! "Great location close to shops, casinos and 15 minutes from hiking trails. Breakfast was good on the weekend but on Monday ... there was only cold cereal and bagels and the coffee ran out. We told the front desk and they brought out oatmeal and coffee but that was it. The bed was extremely comfortable especially after a day of hiking.
